You’ll own the end-to-end management of Mechanical & Process Systems Engineering across our portfolio, including major projects worth over €1 billion.About the roleLead Mechanical & Process Systems engineering for Bord Gáis Energy’s Ireland and UK assets. Collaborate with Asset Development teams to shape and deliver Centrica’s multi-billion euro investment portfolio. Manage key stakeholders—contractors, regulators, TSO/DSO, and more—ensuring projects meet technical, safety, and quality standards. Oversee contracts, technical design, construction, commissioning, and optimisation of thermal generation, solar, turbine, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Provide expert technical guidance and governance from design through to commissioning and handover. Conduct technical due diligence on new investment opportunities.
