A well‑established Dublin accountancy practice is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its growing tax department. This is a key role within the Tax Compliance and Advisory team, offering the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors while contributing to the development of junior staff and supporting the delivery of high‑quality tax services.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of tax compliance engagements across a diverse client base.
Review tax computations and filings prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and technical quality.
Support the development and implementation of tax planning strategies and advisory projects.
Assist with workflow management, resource allocation, and meeting departmental deadlines.
Attend and contribute to client meetings, providing clear and informed tax insights.
Act as a point of contact for client queries, building strong and trusted relationships.
Requirements
Part‑qualified or newly qualified ACCA/ACA, with progress toward CTA considered a strong advantage.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Irish practice, ideally with exposure to both compliance and advisory work.
Strong technical tax knowledge with the ability to identify planning opportunities and add value to client engagements.
Proven organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
Demonstrated initiative, motivation, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior colleagues is beneficial.
