About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a contractor, you will have the flexibility to continue in your primary role while partnering with us. Our dedicated admin and scheduling support ensures you have the time and headspace to focus solely on your clinical work during your contracted hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering a high-quality assessment service to children referred through our network.
* Managing your own clinical work while collaborating closely within a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
* Conducting assessments and presenting findings and recommendations to the MDT.
Requirements:
* A university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.
* An Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology Or An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health.
* Demonstrate expertise in working with children with disabilities, along with a strong understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration and family-centred practice.
* Prior experience conducting Assessment of Need (AON) evaluations.
