The Opportunity
We are delighted to present a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced
Director of Sales & Marketing
to join a
prestigious luxury hospitality destination
in Ireland.
Working as part of a dynamic Executive Team, the successful candidate will lead a
high-performing sales and marketing function
, driving commercial strategy, building strong corporate and leisure networks, and consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
This is a hands-on, visible role suited to a commercially driven leader with a passion for luxury guest experiences and brand excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver ambitious sales strategies to maximise
corporate, leisure, and group revenue
* Build and maintain a comprehensive
client and contact database
across key market segments
* Create and present tailored
sales proposals
to corporate and agency partners
* Strengthen brand awareness through
direct marketing campaigns
, industry engagement, and attendance at key travel and hospitality trade shows
* Establish and manage an effective
sales call cycle
for priority accounts, partners, and stakeholders
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategies and targets accordingly
* Manage and grow
key accounts
, ensuring excellence in account management and client retention
* Lead, motivate, and structure the sales and marketing team, fostering collaboration and high performance
* Work closely with senior management to support
annual budgets, revenue forecasts, and marketing plans
* Collaborate with revenue management, operations, front office, and marketing teams to deliver integrated sales initiatives and promotional activity
Candidate Profile
* Minimum
3 years' experience
in a senior sales and marketing role within
4- or 5-star hospitality
* Proven track record of
driving revenue growth and delivering against budget targets
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
* Excellent organisational, communication, and relationship-building abilities
* Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities and respond to market dynamics
* Third-level qualification in
Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
