Job Description
* This exciting position will be a client facing role with the primary goal of managing mechanical maintenance services for some of our key clients. The candidate will be focused on supervision of M&E maintenance activities on their sites and will be required to ensure the delivery of preventative & reactive maintenance on schedule and in-line with the scope of works.
* The candidate will be responsible for commercial aspects of their sites and provide clients with remedial quotations in a timely manner. In addition to this the candidate will work with Jones technicians and engineers to propose, and then deliver, HVAC & Electrical solutions to our clients.
* This role requires knowledge of HVAC services, Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning. Electrical competency is desirable but not essential. Candidates will be supported by administration staff, technicians, engineers and contract managers, as part of a highly motivated and collaborative team.
* Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with clients, technicians, subcontractors and co-workers.
Requirements
* 3 years post-qualification project engineering experience essential, coupled with hard knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and AC systems.
* Relevant third level qualification required (Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or similar).
* Leadership experience or substantial engineering support or project management experience in a team-based environment is required.
* Experience in HVAC maintenance, although not essential, would be a distinct advantage.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and presentation skills essential.
* Individual must possess strong leadership skills, proven ability to coach and mentor individuals in technical skills and people development areas. The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic and results driven team-based environment with flexibility essential.
* Excellent IT Skills essential
