We are seeking an Event Sales Office Manager to oversee this leading hospitality group’s reactive sales department, manage complex events, and oversee contract execution across a high-volume, multi-site operation.
As the Event Sales Office Manager, you will be at the helm of a fast-paced sales office, responsible for driving revenue through exceptional client service and meticulous event coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the reactive sales department.
* Oversee the reactive sales team, providing training, support and performance feedback.
* Handle high-value, complex events from enquiry to execution, ensuring smooth communication between clients and operational teams.
* Draft, negotiate and manage contracts with precision and efficiency.
* Ensure the sales office hits monthly and annual revenue targets.
* Collaborate with the marketing and proactive sales teams to maximise leads and conversion.
* Implement streamlined processes and CRM systems to improve sales workflow.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
* Report on sales performance, forecasts and market trends to senior management.
* Assist in budgeting, planning and strategic development for events across multiple sites.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum three years’ experience managing a high-volume sales environment within the hospitality, events or venue sector.
* Strong background in reactive sales, event planning, and contract negotiation.
* Multi-site or large-scale venue experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
