Purpose of the Role
The Catering Manager will be responsible for providing exceptional catering services to patients and their guardians, aligned with the Hospital’s values of quality, safety, respect, caring, and compassion, to support a positive patient experience. They are also responsible for the effective management of all aspects of Hospital Catering Services. Continuous improvement and development of the Catering function will be prioritized, ensuring structures, systems, and practices are regularly reviewed and implemented within available resources.
Essential Criteria:
* Degree in Hospitality Management, or a Professional/postgraduate qualification in Hotel & Catering Management, Culinary Arts, or similar.
* Minimum of three years’ experience in a role serving at least 200 meals daily, demonstrating relevant skills and responsibilities.
* HACCP Management training from a recognized provider (e.g., QQI Level 6 Designing Food Safety Management Systems).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
