Quality Technician Position Overview
This is a permanent position for a Quality Technician I who will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing data to determine manufacturing issues and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assists in providing manufacturing support by reviewing and analysing data to determine manufacturing issues and trends.
* Trains operators on processes and engineering changes and performs operator certification on-the-job training and testing.
* Problem solving and continuous improvement investigations are key aspects of this role.
* Troubleshoots product and process related issues and identifies root cause.
* Reviews and disposes non-conforming material by utilizing quality tools and developing knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures.
Requirements:
* A minimum of NFQ Level 6 or above in Science or Engineering discipline.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a medical device industry with experience in dispositioning rework product and a good knowledge of MES/MES Business Objects Reporting.
* Strong decision-making ability coupled with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision is required.
