Position
Project Director – Infrastructure & aviation sectors
Responsibilities
Lead and take full accountability for the successful delivery of project management commissions
Drive business development and winning work, with a proven track record in relevant sectors
Provide line management, mentoring, and development for team members
Manage quality and timeliness of project management outputs in line with agreed programmes and standards
Deliver projects across the entire lifecycle, from early inception and business case development through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and defects management
Manage complex project environments, including litigation, environmental constraints, due diligence and risk management
Operate with a high degree of autonomy, receiving guidance only on complex or unusual challenges
Manage projects involving Risk Triggering Factors (RTF) and other high-risk characteristics
Collaborate with senior stakeholders and provide technical input into project planning and delivery strategies
Qualifications
A degree qualification (BSc or MSc) in Project Management or another construction- or engineering-related discipline
Professional accreditation, ideally Chartered status with RICS, APM, CIOB, or an equivalent professional institution
