About this Role
* Support a cross-functional agile team on backend development and optimizations for our flagship products Patholytix & Diagnexia.
* Develop on-premises components, cloud microservices, and integrate with modern cloud platforms.
* Design, develop, and test architecture changes, features, and improvements.
* Use containerization and cloud technology to build, deploy, and run services and applications.
* Support product monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure quality.
* Drive best practices and standards within the development team.
* Participate in peer reviews and promote secure, high-quality development practices.
* Collaborate with other teams to improve products, services, and tools.
* Complete mandatory compliance and role-specific training, including QMS, ISMS, GxP, DocuSign, SDLC.
About You (Skills and Experience):
* Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* 6/7+ years’ experience in a similar development role.
* Extensive experience in Java (certification a plus).
* At least 3 years’ experience with Spring framework.
* Experience with web services, microservices, and REST APIs.
* Experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and build tools.
* Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes.
* Experience with AWS Cloud, MongoDB, Jenkins/Gitlab pipelines.
* Experience with other languages like Python and JavaScript.
* Experience in Agile development.
* Previous experience in regulated environments (med tech/health tech/pharma).
