Management Position - Catering

Responsible for developing and executing catering solutions to meet customer needs. Facilitate the delivery of prepared food created from event-specific work orders or in a room service environment.


Job Responsibilities


Leadership:

* Ensure catering operations align with the company's Executional Framework.
* Maintain consistent quality in planning and executing events.
* Demonstrate company solutions to ensure quality and efficiency in consumer offerings.
* Lead catering team to ensure quality in food presentation.
* Train employees on food menus and promotional calendars.
* Model and reinforce Aramark's mentoring process.
* Recognize and reward employees.
* Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct meetings and huddles.
* Maintain staff records including training, schedules, and performance data.


Client Relationship:

* Build and maintain effective client and customer relationships.
* Provide excellent customer service per Aramark standards.
* Implement marketing communication strategies to increase catering revenue.
* Achieve food and labor targets by developing and executing strategies.
* Manage catering events of various sizes, including staffing.
* Report all catering revenue, expenses, and receivables accurately and coordinate with other departments.


Compliance:

* Ensure adherence to food, safety, and environmental policies in all operations.
* Follow all safety, health, wage, and hour regulations.


Qualifications

* Diploma/degree in catering or 2-5 years industry experience, including 2 years in management or department head roles, in high-volume hospitality or catering.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Strong background in hotel or restaurant management, industrial catering preferred.
* Excellent people management skills for large teams.
* Passion for food and service, with innovative capabilities.
* Knowledge of Food Hygiene and HACCP standards.
* Ability to manage in a diverse, high-pressure environment focused on client service.
* Experience with budgets and achieving commercial targets.
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive in continuous improvement.
