Accounting Consultant month FTC)
Our client, a leading health services business are looking to hire an Accounting Consultant on a 12-18 month FTC to join their team based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
This role will offer a hybrid working model with 2-3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain GL accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports.
* Reconcile, analyze and review GL accounts in preparation for month end close.
* Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with GAAP.
* Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits.
* Ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation.
* Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position.
* Assist with / lead month end quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groups
Experience/Requirements
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* 2 years+ post qualified experience ideally within a multinational
* Expert level of proficiency with Excel, Word, and other financial reporting tools
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
