Kitchen Porter / Catering Assistant
Excel Recruitment are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Catering Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join our friendly and fast-paced kitchen team in Dublin and the surrounding areas on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a professional catering environment or develop their existing skills further.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages
2. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas
3. Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety regulations are adhered to
4. Support chefs and other kitchen staff as required
5. Manage waste disposal and recycling duties
6. Receive and store deliveries properly
Requirements:
7. Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment preferred but not essential
8. Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
9. Good time management and organisational skills
10. A positive attitude and willingness to learn
11. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and evenings
12. Manual Handling and HACCP certification is essential. Excel Recruitment can provide training
