Overview of role:
UPMC Aut Even is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant on an 11-month fixed term contract.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform patient observations.
* Maintain infection control policies and procedures.
* Manage stocks of linen, treatment room supplies, solutions, and office stationery as requested by the Ward Manager or Deputy.
* Ensure cleanliness and sterility of bedside equipment.
* Prepare the bed and patient environment for post-operative care.
* Escort patients to other departments.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Completed a relevant Care Skills course to at least FETAC Level 5 or equivalent.
* Previous relevant experience in a hospital or nursing home setting is essential.
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
