Overview Of Role
UPMC Ireland has an exciting FTC opportunity for an experienced Associate Recruiter to join our HR Team. This role will be based in our HR Shared Service Centre in Kilkenny. The Associate Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting regionally across all UPMC locations. We are seeking an engaging individual for a 6-month contract to join our high-performing talent acquisition team, with a focus on direct hiring and improving candidate experience. This is an onsite position. The successful candidate will report to the Talent Acquisition Lead and support specific project hiring campaigns.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
1. Build strong partnerships with internal hiring managers to provide effective full cycle recruitment.
2. Source potential employees both domestically and internationally via your professional network, social media, in-house applicant tracking system Cornerstone HR Direct, and external recruitment partners where necessary.
3. Promote vacancies effectively to reach diverse talent pools.
4. Manage the entire recruitment cycle, including resume screening and interviews to assess cultural fit.
5. Drive the offer process in conjunction with hiring managers, the compensation team, and HR.
6. Partner with the HR Director and HR Business Partners on the goals of the people function.
7. Support talent management initiatives with the broader HR team as required.
8. Ensure hiring managers understand recruitment policies and reporting procedures, providing key recruitment metrics as needed.
9. Support onboarding process development and delivery.
10. Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to develop Employer Brand initiatives, especially on LinkedIn.
11. Liaise with recruitment agencies and preferred supplier panels.
12. Manage global mobility and relocation, sourcing and managing overseas talent.
Qualifications & Experience
1. At least 3 years’ experience in recruitment, preferably in the health sector.
2. Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills; ability to communicate effectively with strong personalities.
3. Attention to detail and analytical skills.
4. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
5. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Cornerstone HR Direct or similar ATS (Workday, Greenhouse, Occupop); advanced Boolean search techniques.
6. Experience producing infographics, organizational structures, workflow diagrams.
7. Knowledge of Clockwise Cornerstone or People XD, Time & Attendance systems.
