Outline of role Lanas is currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic in-house Solicitor to join its in-house legal team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, the right candidate will be capable of dealing with a wide range of legal matters, both Irish and international and will work with all divisions of the business.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel to Lanas Irish office in Dublin, Sligo, Cork and offices across the UK.

Key responsibilities Providing legal support and advice across all areas of the business; Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and advising on a wide variety of commercial contracts; Researching and advising the group in respect of compliance and regulatory requirements; Develop precedent agreements; Assist with company secretarial matters and compliance; Ad hoc legal advice to various areas within the business including Human Resources, Sales and Operations and Marketing; Managing contract repositories; Reviewing and updating commercial contracts; Contributing to global legal and compliance projects and initiatives; Responsibility for security reviews and compliance; and Consider, evaluate and advise the product team in respect of any legal and regulatory requirements for new products or developments; Other administrative and ad hoc duties.
Person specifications A qualified solicitor with minimum 3 years' experience; Strong written and communication skills; Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and corporate agreements; Proven commercial awareness and pragmatism; Strong attention to detail is required; An understanding of finance agreements and arrangements; Proven track record of working on your own initiative and as part of a team; Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and manage time to maximise efficiency and to meet strict deadlines; and In-house, data protection and international experience an advantage.
