Matrix Recruitment is recruiting a Quality Manager for a successful and well-established manufacturing company in Co. Cavan. In this permanent role, you will lead the quality function, drive continuous improvement, and oversee internal audits, quality performance data, and manufacturing process standards. Occasional travel to customer sites is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop Quality Process Engineers and Technicians, ensuring strong performance and skills development.
* Implement strategies to improve production processes in collaboration with Design, Production, and Industrial Engineering teams.
* Monitor and enhance quality gates to ensure early detection and prevention of failures.
* Conduct root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements to eliminate quality issues.
* Drive "Right First Time" performance, ensuring high-quality manufacturing instructions and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or Engineering.
* 5–7 years in a senior quality role within manufacturing, including 2–3 years in people management.
* Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
* Proven track record delivering process and quality improvements in a production environment.
* Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in reducing cost of poor quality.
