We are hiring Clinical nurse Manager to a leading nursing home in Galway.
Responsibilities
* To ensure the delivery of the highest standards of nursing and social care which meet the individual needs of each resident by e nsuring that the home policies and best clinical standards are always practiced
* Working with different staff members in all areas to ensure that standards are maintained
* Identify areas that may be of concern and follow up with the Director of Nursing to put action plans put in place
* Reviewing residents with pressure sores /sustained falls / clinically unwell, through clinical practices and documentation to ensure an appropriate management plan is in place
* Troubleshoot any ongoing clinical issues and non-clinical issues and escalate them to the Director of Nursing
* Perform comprehensive assessments of residents and monitor ongoing assessments and modifications
Requirements
* Previous managerial experience
* Registered on the NMBI live register
* Excellent Leadership, Organizational and Communication skills
* Minimum 3 years work experience in a Nursing Home environment
* Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative
* Ability to work well and promote a team environment
* Excellent opportunity for career progression
