We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to support our HR Manager and senior leadership team in managing and enhancing our compliance framework. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of compliance and risk management, ideally gained within healthcare, homecare, or another regulated environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining our compliance systems, supporting internal audits, advising stakeholders, and helping drive a culture of accountability across the business.ResponsibilitiesAssist HR Manager with draft, review, and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.Assess business operations and future initiatives to identify and mitigate compliance risks.Manage the organisation's Compliance Plan and Controls Assurance program.Oversee the day-to-day management of the compliance system and ensure regulatory changes are implemented effectively.Lead and support internal audits and reviews, ensuring any findings are addressed promptly.Advise senior management and business partners on compliance requirements and best practices.Investigate and follow up on compliance incidents, ensuring they are actioned appropriately.Evaluate and enhance compliance systems, ensuring robust processes and controls are in place.Review marketing materials, contracts, and communications for compliance with legal and ethical standards.Collaborate closely with HR and Recruitment Teams to monitor the enforcement of compliance requirements across the organisation.Deliver training and guidance to Compliance Team and cross-functional teams to promote awareness and adherence to compliance policies.Report regularly to the Senior Management on compliance performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.ExperienceMinimum 2 years' experience in a compliance or operations-based role, ideally within healthcare, homecare, or another regulated environment.Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management principles, and regulatory frameworks.Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Proven commercial awareness with the ability to align regulatory requirements with operational goals.Your QualificationsEssential:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Healthcare Management, Quality and Compliance, or a related discipline.Desired:Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is advantageous but not essential.Full Job Description on RequestJob Type: Full-timePay: From €38,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:Maynooth, County Kildare: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Education:Junior Certificate (preferred)Experience:Scheduling: 1 year (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
