Senior Delta V Engineer
We are a leading global innovative bio‑pharmaceutical organisation investing in Irish operations across multiple locations and are looking to expand our technology team.
A Senior Delta V Engineer is needed for our technical Project Team.
As an experienced engineer within the global technology team, you will support delivery of key system upgrades and new technologies to expanding operations at this site.
This is a challenging position in a project environment requiring flexibility and creative problem solving.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Workstream Lead, cooperate with a team of experts (permanent staff and consultants).
Work within this technical workstream for the duration of the project.
Support completion of SATs, IQ and OQ Protocols.
Liaise closely with business partners and internal stakeholders to support manufacturing operations.
Support resolution of deviations; run investigations across equipment and processes, system failures, and under‑performance, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Contribute to lean initiatives within engineering focused on process improvements impacting operational activities.
Support resolution of production issues from an automation perspective.
Oversee disaster recovery processes and procedures.
Experience
Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a highly regulated GMP manufacturing operation (Biotech or chemical sectors preferable).
Hands‑on experience with lifecycle management of Delta V software, hardware, and infrastructure; extensive background in programming and installation.
Flexible approach to work and positive attitude aligned with team dynamic.
Collaborative, genuine team player.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with succession plans and mentoring.
Cross‑functional engagement to deliver on process improvement projects with a site‑based team.
