We are a technology‑driven Chartered Accountant firm building automation into everything we do. You will lead Incorpro’s accounting function while managing and coaching the team. Key Responsibilities
Deliverables: Managing deadlines, outputs, KPIs, ensuring we maintain our high standards.
Client oversight: Maintain excellent communication internally and externally with proactive management of deliverables across the firm.
Automation: Work closely with our software engineers to develop and deploy our systems for automating bookkeeping, accounting, and tax processes, improving client experience.
Team leadership: coach and develop junior accountants to enable them to provide independent client delivery, while identifying any gaps in knowledge or capabilities and working with management to remedy.
Review & sign‑off: ensure all tax returns, including Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE and Income Tax, and financial statements are prepared in line with legislation and regulations.
Self‑development: Continuously develop your knowledge and skills and stay updated on Irish accounting and tax regulations, sharing insights with the team.
Key Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CPA, ACCA), 5+ years PQE in a small to medium accountancy firm setting.
Demonstrated people leadership (coaching, workload planning, feedback).
Problem solver with demonstrable evidence of driving continuous improvement.
Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, demonstrating hunger for continuous development.
Excellent written & verbal communication; organised, deadline‑driven, and client‑focused.
As part of the selection process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a psychometric assessment, which includes a numerical reasoning and personality profile component. This will take place after initial shortlisting, and results will help us better understand each candidate’s approach to problem‑solving, leadership and communication.
