We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement & Materials Planner to support our purchasing and supply chain operations.
This role plays a key part in ensuring materials, components, and outsourced services are sourced efficiently, delivered on time, and accurately processed within our systems, enabling uninterrupted production and strong cost control.
You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Production, Quality, and Finance teams, acting as a central point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Order Management
* Process purchase requisitions in line with internal procedures
* Raise and manage purchase orders
* Track and expedite orders to prevent shortages or production delays
* Liaise with Engineering and Operations to source materials aligned to project and production requirements
* Obtain and compare quotations, recommending best-value purchasing decisions
Materials & Production Support
* Monitor stock levels in collaboration with Production and Stores
* Support replenishment planning to maintain uninterrupted production flow
* Expedite critical items where required
* Ensure purchasing records align with received goods and system stock movements
Supplier & Quality Collaboration
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
* Support outsourced manufacturing/service coordination
* Manage and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) in collaboration with Quality
* Assist with supplier onboarding, documentation, and compliance requirements
Cost & Performance Improvement
* Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery
* Support supplier consolidation and performance improvement initiatives
* Contribute to continuous improvement within the procurement function
