Senior Process Engineering Consultancy
position is now available with a complex medical device company based at a Dublin location. This is an innovative, patient centric organisation with operations across the US & Europe. The site here in Ireland is the business' Global R&D Hub boasting state of the art labs & high spec test suites. This company has grown through a blend of innovative product development and alongside key business and product acquisitions.
Responsibilities
You will report into the Director of Device Engineering and work closely with a team of design engineers, an internal manufacturing group and the contract manufacturing partners both in Europe and the US.
* You will manage concurrent projects overseeing the design and delivery of highly automated manufacturing processes.
* Deliver CI and innovation campaigns to improve efficiencies and support NPI's and commercial scale-up.
* Oversee change control processes and commissioning of new manufacturing technologies.
* Interface with the device development team, internal manufacturing operations groups and the on-site manufacturing team.
* Support less experienced team members through sharing technical knowledge and expertise.
Exeperience
* Applicants must have a 3rd level Degree in a technical discipline. A recognised LSS Certification is advantageous.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience is required within a process engineering position and with knowledge of highly automated manufacturing environments.
* Excellent communication skills required to work with cross-functional teams.
* A highly motivated individual who is self-managing and has a passion for invention.
