Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management and Regulatory Compliance: ○ Ensure the program complies with all regulations and standards established by Tusla and NCS, including implementing child safeguarding statements and maintaining proper staff-to-child ratios. ○ Keep accurate records of attendance, incidents, and activities, ensuring preparedness for audits and external evaluations.

2. Team Supervision and Development: ○ Lead, motivate, and supervise the team of educators and support staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment. ○ Identify training needs and coordinate continuous professional development opportunities for the team.

3. Interaction with Families and the Community: ○ Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring open and effective communication. ○ Organize and participate in community events and activities that promote family integration and participation in the program.

4. Program Development and Evaluation: ○ Design and oversee the implementation of activities and programs that promote children's social, emotional, and academic development. ○ Assess program effectiveness and make adjustments based on the individual and collective needs of children.

5. Administrative and Financial Management: ○ Manage the program's budget, ensuring efficient and transparent financial management. ○ Coordinate child enrollment, manage fees, and ensure accurate submissions to NCS to optimize funding.

Job Requirements:

● Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy, Early Childhood Education, Educational Administration, Social Work, or related fields.

Additional training in educational program management or child development is highly valued.

● Experience: At least 3 years of experience in supervisory or management roles in the education or childcare sector. ○ Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings, preferably in extracurricular or childcare programs.

● Knowledge and Skills: Deep understanding of Tusla and NCS regulations and standards related to childcare programs. ○ Proven skills in leadership, effective communication, and conflict resolution.

Ability to develop and evaluate educational programs that promote the comprehensive development of children. ○ Competence in using technological tools for program management and family communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €14.50 per hour
