Job Description
The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:
1. Delivery of high-quality infrastructure as code solutions across the Experian Cloud estate.
2. Collaborate with Software Development teams, Product Managers, and Business Owners to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
3. Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large and small-scale systems.
4. Automate tools to monitor system health and reliability to support business process requirements.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
6. Communicate status and risks to the product teams.
7. Technical planning, code creation and execution within a self-organised Agile team.
8. Development of and adherence to policies and procedures to ensure all work is executed to a high standard.
9. Communicate team progress and roadmaps.
10. Improve quality and efficiency of delivery.
11. You will be based in Hyderabad and reporting to manager.
12. This is individual contributor (Non-Managerial) role.
Technical Skills – Core
1. 5 years of experience.
2. Proven track record and experience of managing workloads in AWS.
3. Experience with key Architectural principles such as High availability, disaster recovery and platform resiliency.
4. DevOps skillset such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins.
5. Scripting and automation experience – i.e. Python, PowerShell, YAML, GIT.
6. Atlassian Suite – Jira, Confluence as well as Bitbucket.
QualificationsTechnical Skills - Desirable
1. Experience of Containerisation with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
2. Demonstrable Windows and Linux server OS knowledge.
3. Experience with Networking principles.
4. Strong cost management discipline.
Knowledge/Skills
1. Knowledge of Agile working practices (Scrum, LeSS, Kanban).
2. Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience with ticket tracking software, specifically Service Now.
3. Advanced troubleshooting skills.
