About the post: This is a key role within the Marketing Team on RCSI's Dublin Campus.
The Digital Specialist will work with the Head of Marketing and other colleagues to develop and implement robust digital marketing plans for the University.
The Digital Specialist will support undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment activities and help to build the University's digital marketing capabilities, delivering best-in-class campaigns and CRM activity targeted at prospective students and those who influence their decisions about where to study.
Ideal candidates will be creative and experienced digital marketers, with excellent technical skills, and a passion for digital strategy and campaign management.
Job Responsibilities: Contribute to the development and implementation of digital marketing plans in support of student recruitment activities for all of the team's partner schools in RCSI.
Use audience targeting techniques and paid social media marketing aimed at generating undergraduate and postgraduate student applications, via agreed channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube etc.
Implement Search Engine Marketing (SEM) for application campaigns via Google Ads: PPC advertising, Display Advertising and Remarketing, as well as other forms of Google advertising including PMax, Demand Gen and AI Max campaigns.
Maintain key sections of the RCSI website, ensuring that pages/ sections are kept up-to-date and optimised for search, AI overviews, LLM visibility etc.
Deliver undergraduate conversion campaigns by distributing digital marketing literature, via CRM and other channels.
Support the day-to-day management of key RCSI social media channels.
Support the development of RCSI undergraduate prospectus.
Support/ maintain relationships with key internal and external sponsors and partners.
Generate campaign reports, Google Analytics reports and supporting marketing research activities.
Support content generation initiatives for paid campaigns and organic activity.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, related field and/ or Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in digital marketing/communications.
Knowledge & Experience - (Essential): 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience of digital campaign planning including creative development, audience targeting, advert delivery, campaign oversight and reporting.
Knowledge and experience running paid adverts and reports on Digital Service Providers (DSPs) including Instagram, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, SEMrush and TikTok.
Knowledge and experience managing social media channels and generating organic content for same.
Knowledge and experience tailoring content for specific audiences/markets.
Knowledge and experience using CRMs and email marketing automation platforms.
Experience of working in the third level education sector and/or for a multinational organisation.
Track record in taking ownership of discrete programmes of activity.
Knowledge & Experience - (desirable): Knowledge and experience of working with content management systems and updating website pages.
Familiarity with the principles of UX.
Experience using image editing software tools, such as Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
Experience using web analytics tools, such as GA4.
Desirable Skills Able to focus on delivering campaign objectives while closely managing costs.

Excellent attention to detail.
Demonstrated project management and time management skills.
Strong mathematical and analytical skillsets.
