Job Summary:
You will install structural steelwork and external envelope systems safely and to specification, working as part of a site team to deliver projects on time and to quality standards. The role covers steel erection (positioning, bolting-up and final tightening) and cladding installation (insulated panels, built-up and rainscreen systems), including setting out, sealing and detailing to manufacturer guidelines. This is an Ireland-based role with regular travel to client sites; overtime and occasional weekend work may be required to meet programme.

With a recent investment in a new product line, the company is expanding into modular construction, providing units designed to house critical infrastructure. To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of modular unit production, from procurement to client delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Steel erection:
Position, align, plumb and level frames to drawings and lift/erection plans; install temporary works as required.
* Connections:
Bolt-up and torque to specification (incl. HSFG where applicable); fit splice plates, bracing, cleats and secondary steel.
* Lifting operations:
Coordinate with crane/telehandler crews; sling/attach loads correctly; use tag lines; follow the Appointed Person's lift plan and exclusion zones.
* Cladding support:
Install purlins/rails, flashings, trims, closers and masking; set out to gridlines and tolerances.
* Cladding systems:
Install insulated composite panels, built-up twin-skin and rainscreen systems; ensure vapour/air seals, thermal breaks and correct fixings.
* Finishing & weathering:
Apply sealants, tapes and fire-stopping; ensure continuity of weathering, airtightness and insulation.
* Drawings & QA:
Read GA/detail/panel layouts and schedules; raise RFIs/TQs; complete ITPs, checksheets, photos and as-built records; support snag and close-out.
* Tools & housekeeping:
Use and maintain mag drills, torque wrenches, riveters, nibblers and grinders; maintain tidy, safe work areas; protect finished work.
* HSE compliance:
Work to RAMS and permits; attend daily briefings/toolbox talks; stop and escalate unsafe conditions; coordinate with interfacing trades (M&E, roofing, glazing, civils).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants will be required to demonstrate:
* 2+ years' experience as a steel erector and/or cladding installer on industrial/commercial projects.
* Competent with drawings, levels and measuring tools; able to meet plumb/line/tolerance requirements.
* Proficient with power tools and access equipment; confident working at height and on MEWPs/scaffolds.
* Solid understanding of safe lifting, slinging and signalling; able to follow lift plans.
* Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving; proactive on safety and quality.
* Full, clean driving licence and right to work in Ireland; willingness to travel and work overtime when required.
Certifications and Tickets
* Valid SOLAS Safe Pass (Ireland).
* CSCS/SOLAS tickets as applicable (e.g., Slinger/Signaller, Steel Erector, Mobile Tower).
* MEWP (IPAF) and Working at Height certification; harness inspection awareness.
* Manual Handling; Abrasive Wheels.
* CWPS/SIW if required by project; Confined Space awareness (desirable).
Desirable:
* Experience with Kingspan or equivalent panel systems; rainscreen cassette/rail systems.
* Telehandler ticket; Appointed Person / Lift Supervisor awareness.
* Fire-stopping installation experience with third-party certified systems.
* Occupational First Aid.
