Overview
My client, a long established and trusted supplier of industrial products to Local Authorities, Merchants and Contractors, is looking to add an Inside Sales Executive to their team to help capitalise on current market opportunities and grow their customer base and revenues.
* Location: Dublin 22 – The role will initially be onsite but thereafter some level of remote working is possible
* Salary: €30000-35000 depending upon experience + the ability to earn circa 50% in additional on target earnings

The Opportunity

Main Responsibilities
* Develop strong and leverageable relationships with existing customers.
* Identify sales opportunities for the full range of products to existing customers.
* Develop routes to market for new products by creative promotional activities.
* Understand the different approaches to growing sales to customers including Local Authorities, Merchants, Contractors and Industry.
* Use all available marketing/merchandising tools to promote the full range of products to all available customers.
* Manage customer accounts and ensure all customers are afforded the highest levels of customer service.
* Understand and keep aware of product stock levels to ensure rapid response to customer need.
* Support the field sales operation and supply leads as appropriate.
* Ensure margins are maintained on all sales.
* Achieve personal and divisional targets.
Required Skills and Experience
* You should have at least 1 years’ experience in an inside sales role focused on Business to Business sales.
* A proven ability to achieve a sales target in a Business to Business role.
* The ability to manage existing customer accounts while also targeting and cold calling potential new customers.
* Exceptional organisational skills and strong skills with tools such as sales databases and Excel.
* First class communication skills with both internal team members and external stakeholders such as customers and suppliers.
* A self-driven and target orientated personality.
Nice to have
* An understanding of industrial products such as Water Meters and Piping gained via education or within a working environment.
* An engineering or related bachelor’s degree level qualification.
* Experience selling into local authorities and contractors.
