This role is ideal for candidates coming directly from practice or with up to 2 years' post-qualification experience in financial services or industry:
* Recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
* Trained in a Big 4/top 10 firm or relevant in-house finance team
* Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
* Interest in financial markets and investment products
* Proactive and confident communicator
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is part of a collaborative finance function with excellent exposure across the business:
* Month-End Close – Assist with GL close, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly management accounts
* Financial Reporting – Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts under IFRS
* Audit Liaison – Act as a key point of contact for external auditors during year-end
* Group Consolidation – Assist with monthly group reporting for internal and external stakeholders
* Fund Support – Collaborate with investment teams to support reporting across managed funds
* Process & Controls – Contribute to internal control enhancements and automation initiatives
* Systems & Reporting – Work with finance systems to streamline data processes and improve reporting outputs
* Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with teams across operations, compliance, and investments on ad-hoc projects
