Product acquisition Manager Our client a leading and expanding vintage and retro chain of stores is seeking to recruit a product acquisition manager to develop and lead the product buying & acquisition for the group. This is an exciting opportunity for a fashion wholesale manager with buying/ selection experience to join this exciting not for profit group. As Product Acquisition Manager, you will take ownership of sourcing and acquiring stock across fashion and home categories. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new supply opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and supporting the continued growth and success of the retail chain. * 12 month maternity contract Reporting into the Head of growth and business development this is an exciting and rewarding job opportunity based in Naas with ( WFH options ) Responsibilities for the job of Business Development Manager / Product acquisition Build a robust pipeline of opportunities, identifying, qualifying, and cultivating leads. Supporting the development and delivery of acquisition and product strategies Identifying targeted product acquisition leads and Vintage product selection using insights and knowledge of the fashion and home retailing industry. Source and negotiate vintage wear across Europe. Working closely with charity partners in stock allocation, collection, and deliveries Developing and delivering multi-channel, high volume response campaigns Develop and implement solicitation plans for your portfolio and actively encourage engagement. Sourcing and working closely with all online platforms across Continuously build strong business relationships with retail chains, wholesale businesses and online platforms re end of line product Skills and Requirements for this job include Proven experience working within a high-performing team, consistently meeting and exceeding KPIs and business targets. 2-3 years of experience in wholesale, business development, or a related commercial management role within the fashion or retail sector. Experience in product selection or buying is a strong advantage. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong networks and professional relationships across multiple stakeholders. Commercially minded with excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills. Highly self-motivated, energetic, and proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Creative thinker with a keen eye for product trends and market potential.
