Respite Service Manager

As a Respite Service Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our services, and providing high-quality support to our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day delivery of respite services, including staff supervision, client assessments, and care planning.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders, ensuring open communication and effective collaboration.
* Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent care and support.
* Monitor and evaluate service quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
A third-level graduate or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care, or a related field.
Significant experience in a management or supervisory role within a healthcare or social care setting.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams, develop staff, and implement change initiatives.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Skills and Knowledge
Strong understanding of HIQA regulations and standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing competing demands.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Highly developed analytical, organisational, and time-management skills.
Capacity to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
