We are currently looking for a full - time experienced Receptionist / Office assistant to work in our office based in Portlaoise.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESHandling customer telephone enquiries professionally and in courteous mannerDealing with customer collections and sales (walk - ins)Taking paymentsDeliver excellent customer service by handling and resolving customer issues, documenting these, and escalating to the Manager where these are of a more serious natureProvide customers with help on product returns, invoice queries and future requirementsProvide comprehensive administrative support, including data entry, incoming and outgoing post, filing and document managementGreet clients and guests in professional mannerQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSCompetence with MS Office including Outlook, Word, ExcelEnsure the highest standards of appearance, behaviour and attitudesExperience in clerical or administrative rolesStrong organisational and time management skillsAttention to detail and accuracyHighly motivated and comfortable working both under direction and own initiativeExcellent multitasking skillsBookkeeping or Sage 50 accounts experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: From €35,000.00 per yearBenefits:FlexitimeOn-site parkingSick payEducation:Leaving Certificate (preferred)Experience:Sage: 1 year (required)Administration: 1 year (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 15/09/2025
