You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food services to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.As this position is based in healthcare settings, Garda vetting is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities Meal Service: Support the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring they meet specific dietary requirements.
Food Preparation: Assist with basic food prep, organise workstations, and set up serving areas.
Cleaning & Hygiene: Keep kitchen and pantry areas clean and organised, including preparing for the next day's service.
Requirements Manual Handling Certification – Required; training can be arranged if needed.
HACCP Certification – Knowledge of food safety standards; training available if not already certified.
Flexibility – Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends.
