Accounts Assistant
who wishes to join our team and contribute to the future success of Killashee Hotel.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller & Assistant Financial Controller. The role is key to ensuring smooth financial operations and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. The person will need to be self-confident, a self-starter, have excellent attention to detail and be able to work of their own initiative.
Duties:
Assisting with revenue preparation
Reporting of daily revenue and ensure accuracy through internal audits of payments
Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures across department
Assisting with month end processes and reconciliations
Perform ad hoc duties as required by the department
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
* An accounting qualification or part-qualification is a plus
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to work
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.Sage, Opera, Alkimii)
