Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club is recruiting for a part-time Sports Assistant, to assist with the day to day running of the Club's busy sports schedule. The right candidate will have the ability to assist with the administration of leagues, internal and national events as required, as well as being a point of contact on a Saturday & Sunday during leagues and other periods throughout the year. The role involves working with the Club's members, committees and management team, in an efficient, friendly and helpful manner, while ensuring that all duties are conducted to the highest standard.
Main Responsibilities Include
* To maximise usage of clay courts through active management of watering & covers
* Assisting and promoting all Club sports and fitness activities
* Liaising with and supporting Director of Rackets and Sports Co-ordinator, as required
* To be a first aider on duty (training provided if required)
* To assist in maximising all court usage and recording guest attendance/payments
* To assist in running of Internal Tournaments, National Tournaments & ad hoc events
* Liaise with management team, as necessary
* Assisting in the reporting of player and team participation
* To become the Clubs Employee League Liaison working under the Director of
Rackets and in tandem with any Club League Liaison officers and captains when
required
* To be present for club internal sporting events and competitions
* To substitute coach / supervise play as necessary
