Electronics Assembler Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented electronics assembler to support hardware development and prototyping activities in Limerick. Key responsibilities will include:
* Assembling and testing cable harnesses and connectors according to specifications.
* Performing soldering on PCBs, including surface mount and through-hole components.
* Supporting the development, preparation, and setup of electronic demos.
* Assisting engineers with hardware assembly, basic troubleshooting, and rework.
* Maintaining lab equipment, tools, and inventory of components.
* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and documentation in the lab.
* Collaborating with engineering and R&D teams to support ongoing projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Diploma or degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field.
* Proven hands-on experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and cable making.
* Familiarity with PCB rework, soldering standards (e.g., IPC), and demo setups.
* Good understanding of electronic components and wiring diagrams.
* Experience with basic test equipment.
* Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Knowledge of ESD-safe practices & understanding of High Voltage would be an advantage.
