We are looking for Part-time Cook/ Kitchen Assistants to join our team in various residential care homes in Cork City Working pattern is Monday - Sunday Flexible various shifts, ***** hours per week Main duties and responsibilities include: To ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety and HACCP are maintained in the catering facility To attend any mandatory training To follow any procedures and policies in the work place Timely preparation of menu items Assist with the catering set-up Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, etc.
General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes Report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues to the supervisor with minimum delays Requirements: Previous experience in a food service environment Min 2 years' experience in a similar role Flexibility and the ability to innovate Knowledge of HACCP and ability to implement a HACCP procedures.
