The Sales Leadership Role
This is a key leadership position within our hotel's sales and marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, driving and executing the hotel's sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
We are seeking a highly experienced sales professional with a proven track record in senior sales roles, particularly in four-star hotels. Strong exposure to and familiarity with the wedding market is also essential.
* Develop and deliver a sales strategy in conjunction with the Director of Hospitality
* SOURCE NEW BUSINESS AND NURTURE EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS (INCLUDING INTERNATIONAL MARKETS)
* Strong leadership, motivational and training skills
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Understanding of revenue, selling and negotiation skills
* Conduct on-the-road sales calls with existing and potential clients
* Experience of sales data and property management systems, and a good knowledge of digital marketing
* A strategic view and good understanding of the hospitality business
This is an on-the-road role that requires own transport as sales calls are conducted three days a week.
