Responsibilities Supervise and mentor welders and fabricators to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Plan and coordinate daily activities and workflow in the welding and fabrication shop.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards at all times.
Monitor production schedules and make adjustments to meet deadlines.
Conduct regular inspections of work to maintain quality control and identify areas for improvement.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.
Collaborate with management to develop strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements Proven experience in welding and fabrication processes, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of welding techniques and safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
