SUMMARY OF ROLE The Garda Vetting Liaison Person is responsible for coordinating the Garda Vetting process on behalf of the Irish Red Cross.
This role ensures compliance with the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts ********* and supports safe recruitment practices by overseeing the timely, accurate, and confidential processing of vetting applications.
This role is subject to Garda Vetting.
ROLE RESPONSIBLILTIES
1. Garda Vetting Coordination Act as a primary point of contact between the organisation and the National Vetting Bureau (NVB).
Manage the vetting process from receipt of a vetting invitation to tracking, follow-up, and results management.
Ensure that all vetting applications are completed accurately and submitted in line with NVB requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NVB procedures, system updates, and legislative changes.
