Hyundai Ireland is currently looking to recruit a Technical Trainer to join our expanding team.
We have an exciting opportunity for a focused and dynamic Technical Trainer to help shape our learning culture within a challenging, fast-paced, and highly regulated environment.
Working as part of our training team, the Technical Trainer will be involved in all aspects of technical training from design to delivery, developing into an integral part of our team and helping drive our continual learning culture within a challenging, fast-paced network.
The successful candidate will have previous motor technical experience, be self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
The role will also involve using our Learning Management System to implement and help develop e-learning solutions for efficient training delivery.
An essential part of the candidate development strategy will include strong liaison with our Technical department to rapidly enhance technical and product knowledge.
Candidates will attend Train the Trainer Certification at Hyundai Motors Europe (HME) and continual development technical training courses at HME.
The Role
1. Getting started with 6 months Hyundai product knowledge, technical development, and HVT certification.
2. Involved in delivering all technical level courses.
3. Assist with mainstream training courses, e.g., running two practical groups simultaneously (group training).
4. Develop low-level technical programs, e.g., SA Automotive technology (micro learnings or by topic).
5. Develop working knowledge of the management side of the LMS.
6. Deliver generic courses, starting with Hyundai Induction and SDP 1 module where gaps have been identified.
7. Deliver EV Technology and High Voltage Certification to Hyundai network technicians.
8. Attend Hyundai Motors Europe Technical Center for training on new models, High Voltage, and diagnostic courses.
9. Stay ahead of emerging technology and introduce it through training to our network technicians.
About You
1. You will bring a strong technical profile with relevant experience in Automotive fault-finding and diagnosis; industry experience is flexible.
2. You will have at least a National Craft Cert or equivalent. High Voltage experience is an asset but not essential.
3. Willing and motivated to continually build Hyundai product and technical knowledge.
4. Able to work effectively in a performance-driven, fast-paced environment.
5. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
6. Creativity in course development and delivery methods.
7. Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
8. Possess a full, clean driving license.
