Overview
The candidate will design, develop, and maintain advanced data analytics, reporting, and dashboards using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, QuickSight, and SQL databases. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in data analysis, with expertise in semantic models and complex DAX measures. A basic understanding of AWS and Azure cloud technologies is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI, Tableau, and QuickSight.
* Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
* Create semantic models across cloud platforms to support data analysis and reporting.
* Utilize DAX measures to enhance analysis within PowerBI and other tools.
* Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.
* Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
* Train and support end-users on reporting tools.
* Stay updated on data analysis trends and best practices.
* Assist in integrating AWS and Azure cloud tech into workflows.
* Create dataflows and Power Queries for minimal ETL transformations as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field.
* Over 8 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboards.
Additional Skills/Preferences
* Proficiency in Python, R, Spark, and Notebooks.
* Expertise in PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL databases.
* Strong skills in creating semantic models and using DAX measures.
* Basic understanding of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
