Overview Test Lead – Technical Location : Dublin – 2 days onsite Duration : 6-month contract with further extension to 12 months Job Purpose Technical Test Lead plays a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products across the delivery lifecycle.
This role suits someone with solid hands-on testing experience who can work independently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement within the QA practice.
Key Responsibilities test planning and preparation : Analyse Census test requirements, define test conditions, and create detailed test cases.
test execution : Coordinate functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple Census platforms.
defect management : Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
collaboration with developers and product teams : Clarify requirements, support triage sessions, and ensure shared understanding of quality expectations.
test data creation : Prepare and maintain test data sets to support various test cycles.
automation contribution : Support the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts where applicable.
documentation and reporting : Produce clear test reports, metrics, and evidence for release readiness.
continuous improvement : Suggest enhancements to processes, tools, and ways of working.
