Sous Chef – Full Time

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of a busy bar food and function kitchen.
Maintain high standards in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Supervise the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
Assist with menu planning and development.
Oversee ordering, stock control, and stock rotation.
Maintain HACCP records and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Help implement cleaning and maintenance schedules.
Manage portion control, minimise waste, and maintain food quality.
Foster positive relationships with suppliers and kitchen colleagues.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef (or senior Chef de Partie) in a busy kitchen is essential.
Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
A passion for delivering great food and maintaining high standards.
