Senior Housekeeper, Dublin

National Corporate Housing is looking for a Senior Housekeeper to ensure all apartments are clean and well-maintained which include cleaning and sanitizing guest apartments, changing bed linens and towels, restocking amenities, vacuuming, dusting, reporting any maintenance issues as well as adhering to health and safety standards.

The successful candidate must build and maintain positive relationships with National's employees, guests and properties and will have a professional image along with strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

Housekeeping:

* Cleaning and sanitizing apartments including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
* Making beds and changing linens and towels.
* Dusting all surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors.
* Emptying trash and replacing liners.
* Wiping and sanitizing surfaces like mirrors, glass, and electrical equipment.
* Responding to guest requests for additional items.
* Reporting maintenance issues such as broken appliances or damages.
* Following all building and apartment hotel security, health, and safety regulations.
* Handling lost and found items according to company procedures.

Supervisory:

* Maintain high quality of housekeeping standards in all areas.
* Manage daily activities to ensure work is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
* Check key boxes according to check out details. Any missing keys, swipes, gym or parking to immediately be reported to the office.
* Monitor, report and control hot water and heating usage.
* Maintain communication and coordination with the team.
* Investigate guest issues or concerns.
* Schedule the cleaning of carpets, upholstery, cushion covers and curtains as required.
* Provide reports each month of inventory/stock as per attached list.
* Keep all stores and hallways in an orderly manner.
* Basement hallways must be cleaned and tidy every evening.
* Advise when an order is required for apartment supplies e.g. bulbs, pots, pans, plates etc.
* Photos to be sent daily of keys/codes for all check ins and check outs.
* Parking swipes and gym cards to be kept track of and to report/investigate any missing items.
* Provide customer support to guests and corporate clients as required.
* Support day-to-day operational requirements.
* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Working hours between or Monday-Friday.
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both vocally and in writing.
* Spoken and written English.
* Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with guests, clients, suppliers and colleagues.
* Strong attention to detail and have good problem-solving skills.
* Have a "whatever it takes" attitude toward customer satisfaction.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Operational IT skills.
