Job Title: Accounts and Payroll Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts and Payroll manager to manage the payroll function, financial administration, and office operations across three brands: CIS Group LTD, Thermal Imaging Ireland, and Snughome. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive individual with strong payroll knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Employee Management
· Collate weekly payroll data for approx 10–30 employees, ensuring timely processing and compliance with statutory requirements (PRSI, USC, etc.).
· Calculate overtime, expenses, and entitlements such as public holidays and annual leave.
· Manage new employee tax registrations, pension enrolments, and maintain accurate personnel records.
· Process employee terminations, ensuring accurate final pay including accrued leave.
· Track employee annual leave balances and integrate annual leave data into payroll.
· Ensure employment contracts are issued and updated, and employees are notified of any changes in terms and conditions.
Accounts & Finance
· Submit client claims using verified data from site and employee timesheets, resolving any discrepancies before invoicing.
· Generate and distribute sales quotations and invoices to customers.
· Manage VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
· Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
· Monitor aged debtors and creditors, negotiating payment terms and ensuring timely payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
Administration
· Maintain staff training records and proactively identify future training needs.
· Oversee all general office administration tasks.
· Provide reception cover, answering inbound phone calls

Requirements:
Essential:
· Proven experience in payroll processing and accounting administration.
· Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and statutory deductions (PRSI, USC, etc.).
· Proficiency in Excel & using accounting and payroll software (e.g., Sage, BrightPay, or similar).
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable:
· Experience working across multiple business entities.
· Familiarity with VAT returns and Revenue submissions in Ireland.
· Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy office environment.

Pay: €24,397.69-€39,661.44 per year
