LSC is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join a Cork‑based biopharmaceutical company that manufactures low‑volume bulk API for Phase III clinical trials, initial product launch and long‑term market support.
The role involves planning, scheduling and managing all maintenance activities on the manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule all maintenance activities, including reactive, proactive, calibrations and preventive maintenance both internally and through specialist vendors.
Conduct daily and weekly planning & scheduling meetings with customers to determine work order priorities and analyze preventive maintenance plans for accuracy and effectiveness.
Work with the Maintenance Operations Manager and all departments to schedule jobs for efficient execution by Maintenance Technicians.
Forecast maintenance workloads for the business year and coordinate with other departments to ensure engineering work is scheduled appropriately.
Maintain notification backlog in the CMMS and keep data up to date.
Evaluate work requests, develop scope of work, inspect job locations and estimate resource hours, parts, materials and special tools needed for proactive jobs.
Qualifications
High competence in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and prior maintenance scheduling/planning experience.
5 years of maintenance experience in GMP work within a bio‑pharmaceutical or equivalent industry.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Notes
Eligible to work in Ireland: contract role requires a Stamp 1 G or Stamp 4 visa.
