Electrical Engineering Officer
* Manage critical onboard systems, including power generation, navigation, communications, weapons systems, environmental control, and IT infrastructure.
* Responsibilities include electrical, electronic, and control systems governing maneuverability, defence, and intelligence functions at sea and ashore.
* A key leadership role is expected within the organisation, with training provided to prepare for both engineering and military responsibilities.
* Positions may be based on ships, ashore, or in overseas assignments.
* After a sea rotation, roles can be transferred to shore-based positions at the Naval Dockyard, Naval College (NMCI), or Naval Base, managing project planning, equipment procurement, and maintenance operations.
* Opportunities exist to undertake funded professional development in areas such as Project Management, Engineering Master's programmes, ATEX Standards, Energy Management, Vibration Analysis, and Health & Safety qualifications.
