Our client, an award-winning events and experience agency, is seeking a new team member for a newly created position within the agency. Whether brand-led activations, events, or interior fit-outs, the team creates connection through experience. As the studio continues to grow, there is now an opportunity for a commercially focused, creatively fluent Account Director to help lead the next chapter.
The Opportunity
This role requires more than just operational excellence; it calls for a strong voice in shaping creative processes, championing team collaboration, and driving work that's both effective and award-worthy.
A key mid-senior level position, the Account Director will be responsible for optimizing studio operations, strengthening workflows, and acting as the connective tissue between creative, production, and delivery teams. This is a pivotal role in translating vision into results.
What You'll Do
Studio & Creative Operations
* Act as guardian of studio systems and processes, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and effectively implemented
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio, including resource planning and workflow management
* Lead project scheduling and cross-team collaboration using appropriate project management tools
* Work closely with production, build, live, and services teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery
* Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve delivery timelines
Commercial Oversight
* Monitor and report on studio utilization and resource forecasting
* Support leadership in budgeting, scoping, and strategic planning
* Help identify areas for revenue growth, operational improvements, and overall efficiency gains
Team Leadership & Development
* Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven studio culture
* Support and mentor team members through coaching, workload planning, and creative development
* Help assess skills across the team and identify areas for future growth and training
What You Bring
* 6+ years of experience in studio or project management within a creative, experiential, or agency environment
* A strong background in managing creative teams and overseeing design workflows
* Deep understanding of the creative process from ideation to execution
* Commercially aware, with strong budgeting and time management capabilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency with project management and collaboration platforms
* Ability to confidently manage multiple projects, personalities, and priorities
* Connections in the freelance creative community (bonus)
Management: Day-to-day operations, workflow, tools, people, process - 35%
Client Management: Ability to liaise with senior clients, manage expectations, guide creative - 30%
Commercial Oversight: Budgeting, resource planning, profitability, pricing input - 25%
Team Leadership & Culture: Mentoring, collaboration, upskilling, maintaining studio culture - 10%
