Occupational Therapist Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Wicklow.
* The Adult Occupational Therapy Service provides services to community mental health teams, community rehabilitation teams, and psychiatry of later life teams.
* The post holder will work within the team and provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention to service users within a designated clinical and geographical area.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Assessment, planning, implementation, and review of treatment/intervention programmes for service users.
2. Manage own caseload and collaborate with service users, family, carers, and other staff in treatment/planning.
3. Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, reports, and discharge summaries according to local service and professional standards.
Requirements:
* BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy.
* CORU registration as an occupational therapist.
* Previous experience in mental health essential.
This role offers support from a busy occupational therapy department with a wide range of experience and knowledge across general adult and specialty mental health services.
